Dashboard Overview

After logging in, you land on the Dashboard—your home base in TroupeIT.

Trial and upgrade​

If you are on a free trial or your owned companies are not on a paid plan, the top bar and dashboard may show how many trial days are left and a path to upgrade or start a trial (for example after you create a company). When the trial is running low, you might also see a short upgrade reminder card (you can dismiss it; it may come back after a while).

Subscription plans cover what happens when the trial ends.

Layout (desktop vs mobile)​

On large screens, the page is roughly two columns:

  • Left: Your profile card, then Companies, then a compact activity feed.
  • Right: Events (upcoming and prior, with a company filter), then Your Acts.

On phones and small tablets, activity moves below Your Acts so the main lists stay higher on the page.

Profile card​

  • Your avatar opens the image editor when clicked.
  • Your name and username link to your public profile.
  • Edit profile appears when you hover the card (or use Edit Profile in the avatar menu in the top bar).

Companies list​

  • New creates another company; Manage opens the full company list/management view.
  • Each row links to that company’s profile page.
  • If you are a stage manager or higher on that company, you get shortcuts: Files (that company’s library), Acts filtered to that company, settings (gear), and Invite for producers.
  • Owners see subscription/trial badges (for example TRIAL · Xd, PAYMENT DUE) that link to billing when relevant.

Events​

The events panel lets you filter by All companies or a single company. You’ll see upcoming and prior events in separate sections, with pagination when there are many.

Your Acts​

Lists acts you own, with Create act, pagination, and links into each act.

Activity​

Shows recent actions across your memberships (company-scoped where it applies).

Chat​

Use the chat button (usually a speech-bubble control on the edge of the screen) to open team chat: channels tied to companies, events, and shows, plus direct messages. You need to be on a troupe (company) to see most channels.

Other shortcuts​

  • Take a Tour (when you have companies): a short guided tour of the dashboard.
  • Create Event and Create Act are also in the top navigation so you can start them from any page (Create Event sends you to the dashboard if you are not already there).
  • Your Files (personal file library) is in the avatar menu and, on small screens, in the main nav—see File management.
